Overview
clearmaxx PAPR is a powered air grinding helmet designed for the e3000 or e3000X blower unit — together they provide TH3 respiratory protection. It also works with the suppliedair compressed air system. Air enters through the inlet above the field of view, and the unit is worn comfortably on your back.
The large clear polycarbonate visor gives you an unrestricted view of your workplace, and the face seal closes off the space inside the helmet. A rotary switch lets you steplessly direct up to 20% of the airflow to your forehead for extra cooling — without blowing air directly over your eyes, which could dry them out.
The helmet weighs approx. 500 g. A version with HALO headgear is also available. An exchangeable shade 5 front cover lens (accessory) adapts the system for plasma cutting, and tear-off foils for the visor are available (set of 10).

The helmet comes without an air supply unit — connect it to one of these systems or choose a ready-to-weld package.
e3000XTH3 blower unit for powered air helmets: up to 240 l/min of air, up to 18 hours of battery life and ATEX certification for zones 2 and 22.
