The Y series is the neo p550 — the latest version of the p550, for years one of optrel’s most popular welding helmets, now with a modern auto-darkening filter. A specially developed UV/IR filter delivers optrel’s typical true colour view, and the filter reacts to the arc in just 0.1 ms.
Energy-efficient electronics with Super Sleep Mode give around 3,000 hours of operational readiness without changing the battery. The helmet has a light state of 4 and a manually set shade range of 9–13, and interchangeable side panels let you personalise it. Pair the neo p550 with swiss air in a Ready-to-Weld package.
