The weldcap bump is a super-lightweight welding cap with an auto-darkening filter and an integrated bump cap — for welders who also need to protect their head against bumps. Complete, it weighs 360 g. An ergonomic nose cut-out in the optical unit gives you a panoramic view, and the filter shows colours naturally (optical class 1/1/1/2 to EN 379).

The shade is adjustable steplessly between 9 and 12, and in the light state the filter is at shade 3 — with its grind mode, the weldcap bump also works well for grinding and plasma cutting. A wide-angle sensor detects the arc, and power comes from solar cells and two replaceable CR2032 batteries. The robust textile part, made of flame-retardant material, is quick to remove and easy to wash; it comes in black or green. For respiratory protection, combine the weldcap bump with a swiss air blower unit with control panel in a Ready-to-Weld package.
