Overview

The liteflip autopilot is a super-lightweight auto-darkening welding helmet with a flip-up design. You weld through the auto-darkening filter, then flip it up to grind with a clear, undarkened view. It is a practical choice when welding and grinding alternate throughout the day.

The filter works fully automatically: ShadeTronic® selects the shade between 5 and 14, and in the light state the filter is at shade 4. A specially developed UV/IR filter provides true colour view. Three sensors and stepless sensitivity adjustment with a “Super High” range ensure reliable arc detection, and FadeTronic brightens the filter smoothly after welding. Optical class to EN 379: 1/1/1/2.

The helmet weighs 530 g. The patented eccentric mechanism and the comfort headband make it easy to fit, spread the weight and relieve your neck. Interchangeable side panels let you customise the helmet. The filter is powered by solar cells and two replaceable CR2032 batteries.

Alongside the headband version there is a version with a universal hard hat adapter. According to the manufacturer, the liteflip autopilot can be combined with swiss air respiratory protection; for use with the e3000X blower unit, choose the liteflip autopilot PAPR.
