Overview
The sphereX pure air clt is an auto-darkening PAPR welding helmet from the sphereX series, equipped with crystal lens technology (CLT). It has an air duct and a face seal, and the air is distributed inside the helmet with exceptional comfort. It works with the e3000X blower unit or the suppliedair compressed air system.
The CLT filter delivers outstanding optical clarity: its light state is just shade 2.0, colours look realistic and the field of view is more than 30% larger. ShadeTronic® selects the shade automatically between 5 and 12, and manual mode offers ranges of 4–8 and 8–12. Five sensors detect the arc even in difficult lighting, sensitivity is adjustable steplessly (including a “Super High” range), and FadeTronic brightens the filter gently after welding. Optical class to EN 379: 1/1/1/2.
The IsoFit® X headgear offers a wide range of adjustments, and the Position Locker holds the helmet open or closed. The helmet weighs 850 g (without an industrial safety helmet) and is suitable for grinding; the filter is powered by solar cells and two replaceable CR2032 batteries.
