Overview
The sphereX pure air quattro is an auto-darkening PAPR welding helmet from the sphereX series. It has an air duct and a face seal, and the air is distributed inside the helmet with exceptional comfort. It works with the e3000X blower unit or the suppliedair compressed air system.
The optics match the sphereX quattro: a field of view more than 30% larger, realistic colours and the best viewing angle dependence class (V1), so the image stays clear at an angle too. ShadeTronic® selects the shade automatically between 5 and 13, manual mode offers ranges of 5–9 and 9–13, and in the light state the filter is at shade 3. Five sensors detect the arc even in difficult lighting, sensitivity is adjustable steplessly (including a “Super High” range), and FadeTronic brightens the filter gently after welding.
The IsoFit® X headgear offers a wide range of adjustments, and the Position Locker holds the helmet open or closed. The helmet weighs 850 g (without an industrial safety helmet) and is suitable for grinding; the filter is powered by solar cells and two replaceable CR2032 batteries. For a brighter view, choose the sphereX pure air clt with crystal lens technology and a light state of 2.0.

The helmet comes without an air supply unit — connect it to one of these systems or choose a ready-to-weld package.
e3000XTH3 blower unit for powered air helmets: up to 240 l/min of air, up to 18 hours of battery life and ATEX certification for zones 2 and 22.
suppliedair comfortConnects a compressed air source to an optrel powered air helmet: adjustable 170–250 l/min airflow, flow meter and comfort belt included.
