sphereX quattroauto-darkening welding helmet

The sphereX quattro is an auto-darkening welding helmet from the new-generation sphereX series. Its field of view is more than 30% larger and the image keeps realistic colours — for more comfort, efficiency and safety in everyday work.

What sets the quattro apart is the best viewing angle dependence class (V1): the image stays clear even when you look through the filter at an angle. ShadeTronic® selects the shade automatically between 5 and 13, and manual mode offers ranges of 5–9 and 9–13. In the light state the filter is at shade 3. Five sensors detect the arc even in difficult lighting, sensitivity is adjustable steplessly (including a “Super High” range), and FadeTronic brightens the filter gently after welding.

The IsoFit® X headgear offers a wide range of adjustments, and the Position Locker holds the helmet in one of two positions — open or closed. The helmet weighs 640 g, is suitable for grinding, and its filter is powered by solar cells and two replaceable CR2032 batteries. A version with a comfort headband instead of IsoFit® X is also available.

The sphereX family also includes the 2.5 and the clt, with crystal lens technology and a light state of 2.0. For respiratory protection, combine the sphereX quattro with a swiss air blower unit in a Ready-to-Weld package; for use with the e3000X or suppliedair, choose the sphereX pure air quattro.
