Overview
The vegaview2.5 is an auto-darkening welding helmet from the sphere series for welders who value a bright view above all. In its light state the filter is at shade 2.5, so between welds you can see your workplace clearly — for greater safety and efficiency.
You set the shade manually between 8 and 12. After welding, FadeTronic brightens the filter smoothly, while three sensors with a detection-angle slider let you match the helmet’s response to your welding position; sensitivity is adjustable too. The filter is rated 1/1/1/2 to EN 379 and offers true colour view. The helmet is also suitable for grinding.
The patented eccentric mechanism makes it easy to position the helmet on your head, and the comfort headband spreads its 489 g weight to relieve your neck. Power comes from solar cells and two replaceable CR2032 batteries.
The shell is black. Alongside the headband version there is a version with a universal hard hat adapter. For respiratory protection, combine the vegaview2.5 with a swiss air blower unit with control panel in a Ready-to-Weld package; for use with the e3000X, choose the vegaview2.5 PAPR.
