The crystal2.0 is an auto-darkening welding helmet from the sphere series, built around crystal lens technology (CLT). In its light state the filter is at just shade 2.0 and colours look realistic, so before you strike the arc and after you finish you see your workplace and the weld clearly, in colours close to reality.

The shade range is 4–12, and ShadeTronic® keeps you working without interruption at any arc intensity. After welding, FadeTronic brightens the filter gradually, so your eyes are spared an abrupt change in light. Three sensors with a slider for the detection angle and stepless sensitivity adjustment with a “Super High” range help you match the helmet to your working conditions. The optical class to EN 379 is 1/1/1/2, and a grind mode is included.

The helmet weighs 460 g. The patented eccentric mechanism makes it easy to position on your head, while the comfort headband spreads the weight evenly and relieves your neck. Power comes from solar cells and two replaceable CR2032 batteries.

Choose a silver shell finished with heat-reflective paint, or black. A silver version with a universal hard hat adapter is also available. For respiratory protection, combine the crystal2.0 with a swiss air blower unit in a Ready-to-Weld package; there is also an upgrade package with a PAPR shell and the e3000X (ATEX) blower unit.
