panoramaxx clt is an auto-darkening welding helmet with a filter built on crystal lens technology (CLT). In the light state the filter is at shade 2.0 — the brightest in the panoramaxx series — and renders colours naturally. Before striking the arc you see your surroundings clearly, and while welding you can follow the weld pool and the tarnish colours on the seam, which is particularly useful for TIG.

The Panorama-XXL field of view is 6.3 times larger than a standard 100 × 50 mm filter, and the patented nose cut-out separates your breath from the filter, so the viewing window does not fog up. ShadeTronic® sets the shade automatically between 4 and 12 based on readings from 5 sensors, and manual mode covers 7–12. EN 379 optical class: 1/1/1/2.

The helmet weighs 600–610 g depending on the version and protects against impact from particles travelling at up to 120 m/s. Grind mode is switched from the outside, FadeTronic brightens the filter gently after welding, and the 280 mAh battery is topped up by the light of the welding arc (re-charge) or via Micro USB. The IsoFit® headgear offers numerous adjustment options.

panoramaxx clt is available in two colours: black and silver. For respiratory protection there are Ready-to-Weld packages with swiss air, and the powered air version is available as panoramaxx pure air clt.
