Overview

panoramaxx pure air 2.5 is an auto-darkening PAPR welding helmet. You connect it to an e3000/X blower unit or to a suppliedair compressed air system, giving you respiratory protection while welding and grinding. A complete set with the e3000X blower unit is available as a Ready-to-Weld package.

The Panorama-XXL field of view is 6.3 times larger than a standard 100 × 50 mm filter, and the patented nose cut-out separates your breath from the filter, so the viewing window does not fog up. Despite its low weight (745 g), the helmet is highly robust and protects against impact from particles travelling at up to 120 m/s.

The 2.5 filter has a light state of 2.5, ShadeTronic® auto-darkening from 5 to 12, manual mode 7–12 and EN 379 optical class 1/1/1/2. Five sensors detect the arc, sensitivity can be adjusted continuously up to “Super High”, FadeTronic brightens the filter gently after welding, and grind mode is switched from the outside. For a higher optical class choose panoramaxx pure air quattro; for a brighter light state, panoramaxx pure air clt.

The helmet comes with IsoFit® headgear and a 280 mAh battery charged by the welding arc (re-charge) or via Micro USB.
