panoramaxx hybrid is an auto-darkening welding helmet with built-in protection against laser radiation, developed for handheld laser welding. The passive laser protection is always active, while the auto-darkening filter adapts the shade to the job — one helmet covers laser welding and your other welding work.

Manual mode in the 4–9 range is recommended for laser welding. In automatic mode ShadeTronic® sets the shade between 5 and 13 based on readings from 5 sensors. Sensitivity can be adjusted continuously up to “Super High”, and FadeTronic brightens the filter gently after welding.

The Panorama-XXL field of view is 6.3 times larger than a standard 100 × 50 mm filter and offers true colour view. Position Locker holds the helmet securely in the open or closed position, and grind mode is switched from the outside. The helmet weighs 695 g and comes with IsoFit® headgear and a 280 mAh battery charged by the welding arc (re-charge) or via Micro USB.

The panoramaxx hybrid clt version has a crystal lens technology filter and a lower manual range of 3–8. For respiratory protection there is a Ready-to-Weld package with swiss air, and the powered air version is available as panoramaxx pure air hybrid.
